Australia House Presents - "Milk in the Pandemic"
The Exhibition idea came to be due to the fact that we were to open a Store in Melbournes CBD at th beginning of 2020. When we realised the city was closing and all businesses closing in Melbourne CBD we decided not to go forward wit the business and we thought better to start in 2021.
I started to walk the Melbourne streets to start a list of potential customers and I took a Milk Bottle to deliver each new customer. But as they all closed I just started to take photos.
I started to take photos of the bottle delivering Milk and the empty Melbourne streets. I took the photos from March to October 2020. I did this to keep my self occupied and it was my daily exercise.
I am putting the prints of the photos into stores, cafes, restaurants, office buildings etc. Each week starting from December 15th, I will install more prints into more streets. It's my aim from now to February to get the prints in most streets of the Melbourne CBD area. The area I have chosen is from Flinders Street to la Trobe street. and from Spring STreet to Elizabeth Streets,
The exhibition will also be here online as I will take a photo of each store owner with the print in their store and a bottle of Milk in there hand.(I will be sharing their story on #australiahouse social media. Facebook: @AustraliaHouse.melb and instagram: australiahouse.melb
I have really enjoyed the project and I hope at the end on February 19th, to try to open my store in Melbourne CBD and to hold a Street Festival in Melbourne and I will invite all of the participating stores which I call the Gallery to join with there products they sell in there store and I will produce a wonderful Dairy Festival alongside them. #australiahouse

Schedule
The Exhibition starts on December 22nd, 2020 and finished on February 19th, 2021.
The Exhibition will start in Degraves Street and will be in every street in Melbourne CBD.
The Exhibition will be in approximately 250 stores, restaurants, shops, office buildings and many types of businesses. The Exhibition is 354 images mostly Black and White of Milk being delivered during the lockdown.
